COMMuNITY for Moms!

MOMCO is a place fun and safe place to connect with other moms, share breakfast, and hear from guest speakers on various topics for these seasons of motherhood. All moms with children between the ages of 0-18 are welcome! We have a fall and spring semester. Meetings are held every other Wednesdays at 9:00AM and 6:30PM

  • MOMCO at Grace is open to women at any stage of motherhood; pregnant - 18 years old. While MOMCO is a faith-based organization all moms are welcome here. We provide a safe loving environment with the intention to encourage one another and build community. There is no dress code or requirements just come as you are and enjoy your time with us!

  • MOMCO meets the 1st and 2nd Wednesdays of the month. The morning session is 9:00 - 11:30 AM and the evening session is 7:00 - 8:30 PM. Exact dates can be located on the registration links.

  • The cost varies on which group you join and if you are bringing kiddos. The cost ranges from $70 - $100. This specific information can be found on the registration link above.

  • Yes, childcare is provided during our morning meeting. Our kind, background-checked MOPS Kids volunteers will make sure your children are well cared for.

    Childcare is not provided at the evening meeting.

  • MOMCO Morning:

    Between 8:45 - 9:10 AM You’ll be greeted at the door by our helpers, who will welcome you and your child(ren). They will print off name tags for children and you will walk them to their classroom and drop them off. You will then make your way to the social hall to check yourself in for our meeting. (There is a public middle school that meets at Grace Long Beach and some of its classrooms are in the same hallway as MOPS Kids for safety all adults on campus must wear a name tag.)

    Now the fun begins! You’ll walk into the meeting space where you’ll see nicely decorated tables to sit at and enjoy a cup of hot coffee and delicious breakfast without interruption and chat with other moms.

    We get to hear a speaker present on a topic that relates to our stage of life and share in a wonderful time of discussion, fellowship and encouragement with other moms.

    At the end of our time, we’re dismissed to go pick up our kids and hear about the fun they’ve had while leaving our time feeling rejuvenated by the time we shared together!

    MOMCO Evening:

    Meetings take place between 7:00 - 8:30PM in our lovely coffee house SEKA. We will have simple snacks/dessert and drinks available as we take time to get to know each other. We get to hear from a speaker about a topic relevant to our stage of life and share in a wonderful time of discussion, fellowship and encouragement with other moms. We do not provide childcare for the evening group at this time.

  • There is parking available on the street and in the median on Linden Ave, a small lot behind the social hall off of Linden Ave and in the median on 36th St.

  • Our amazing MOMCO KIDS Coordinators will come get you and bring you back to your child.

  • Absolutely! If your child is under a year old, you’re welcome to keep him or her with you. MOMCO is a nursing-friendly environment, and many moms wear their babies, pass them around the table or let them play on the floor.

  • Um, you might miss the best coffee creamer, or even get stuck with only decaf–but otherwise, nothing. Like we said, we get it; we’re all moms.
