What are Small Groups?
At Grace Long Beach, we believe life should be lived together! God has designed us with a desire to be known and to belong. We do this by being part of both a collective community (church on Sunday) and a more intimate community (small group) where we find belonging and challenge moving us to grow in our faith.
Why a Small Group?
Part of being a Christian involves discipleship; learning from Jesus how to live and love like Jesus. Small groups help us grow in our faith, carry each others burdens, and cultivate meaningful relationships centered around Jesus.

LIFE GROUPS
What are Life Groups?
Life Groups are a great way to start meeting people at Grace. We believe that Christ is in all of life including supper clubs, woodworking and pickle-ball! They are designed to be centered around an activity or interest making connection easy and enjoyable. Life Groups are 8 - 10 weeks long and take many forms: hiking, woodworking, BBQs, supper clubs, games, bible study, there are lots of options! Life Groups topics change depending on who is leading the group. Don’t see one you are interested in on the list? Maybe that’s your que to start one! Pickleball anyone?
Why Life Groups?
Let’s be honest, life can be a lot and it can feel challenging or even intimidating to get connected to a community. We often avoid our loneliness by being overly busy and escaping into entertainment and distractions. Binge much? What we really need is deeper more meaningful relationships where we feel known by God and others. Where we can grow in our relationship with Jesus. Where we can belong. Life Groups are a great first step in connecting with other believers through fun and shared interests.

Care at Grace
The CARE Ministry at Grace has two focuses: connecting those within the Grace community who are in crisis to a network of peer support, and equipping our community to serve those in need in the greater Long Beach area.
The ministry is here to help meet your needs and also to give you opportunities to do the same outside the immediate Grace family.

If you are finding yourself in crisis, you aren't alone. Our CARE representatives are ready to connect you with our extensive network of resources from others in the Grace community. To submit a request, simply fill out this form, or find a CARE team member in the lobby after our morning gatherings every Sunday.

CARE at Grace wouldn't exist without the generosity of our community. You'd be surprised how many resources you may have to share that would bless someone in crisis. From financial gifts to ride-sharing, there are plenty of opportunities for you to CARE for your friends and family at Grace.
