WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
We gather at 9:30AM every Sunday in the Sanctuary to worship God through hearing scripture read, participating in responsive readings, reorienting ourselves to God's Word, and enjoying time together afterward on the Plaza or in our SEKA coffeehouse.
Our second hour offers something for everyone throughout the month!
WHO ARE WE?
We are a community on a journey together. The map for our journey has been revealed by God in the Bible, where he has unfolded his plan to restore all things to himself through Jesus. God has extended his grace to his creation, making restoration and healing possible in human relationship, and in all spheres of life, through Jesus. Our desire, therefore, is to be a community which seeks to live life with Jesus as the central reference point.
Second Hour at Grace
1st & 3rd Sundays
The 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month this fall will feature several fellowships that are all about forming friendships and forming faith: room for our minds and hearts to be renewed by the gospel, time for us to be with each other. That is, second hour fellowships are about cultivating friendship with God and with each other. Your children will enjoy both hours of curriculum, games, singing and fun. Our SEKA coffee house will be serving all your hot and cold favorites, too.
Certain questions come up from time to time that affect the whole church community. In addition, certain corporate practices are good for all of us to engage in together every so often—prayer, family conversation, and congregational business meetings. On 2nd Sundays we'll gather together to attend to questions or engage in practices that involve us all. For most of you, these are meetings you won't want to miss.
On 4th Sundays, adults can enjoy time on the Plaza or at SEKA together, while some of our second hour fellowships will also meet. Children's Ministry programs will run during first hour, but during second hour, parents, you'll have the opportunity to join your kids in a guided activity that blesses the community in and around Grace.
