Table Talks: Apathy, Suffering, and the Faithfulness of God

TABLE TALKS: APATHY, SUFFERING, AND THE FAITHFULNESS OF GOD | The word passion captures both joyful devotion to life and willingness to suffer. Apathy is the name given to the loss of passion; one theologian calls apathy the modern death: life without suffering, life without passionate feeling. How might God visit those who have become numb both to love and pain? How might the passion of Christ revive our passion and make us alive again?
